PESHAWAR: A resident of Tarkhel village in Nizampur tehsil of Nowshera tehsil has demanded the government to ensure arrest of the killers of his son.

Addressing a news conference here on Friday, Alamzeb alias Pir Sahib said that his 14-years-old son Amir Muawiya was getting education at a seminary in Bazargi village in Yar Hussain. On December 19 when he was on his way to the seminary, some unknown people sprinkled petrol on him and set him ablaze.

He was rushed to a hospital for medical cure, but he succumbed to the burn injuries on December 24. He said that FIR of the incident has been lodged but no arrest could be made so far. He said that he has no rivalry with anyone. He demanded the government to ensure early arrest of the killers of his son, otherwise the residents of the 36 villages of Nizampur would block the main GT Road.
