Youth dies in gas cylinder explosion

LAHORE:An 18-year old youth was killed when a gas cylinder exploded in a private refilling station in Wahdat Colony area here on Sunday.
The shop was completely damaged. The explosion created panic in the area. Upon being informed, the rescuers rushed to the scene and started operation. The victim identified as Abdullah died on the spot. Police said that LPG gas was being refilled when the explosion took place.
Body found: A man was recovered dead from BRB canal in Qarbat village near Bedian Road on Sunday. Some passersby spotted the body floating in the canal and informed the police. Body, yet to be identified, was shifted to the morgue.
