Shafqat, WB official discuss education

Islamabad : Federal Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mehmood met country director of the World Bank Najy Benhassine here on Thursday and discuss with him the ministry's ongoing and future projects.
The minister said the ministry in collaboration with the WB had launched initiatives of COVID-19 Response, Recovery and Resilience in Education Project and Pandemic Response Emergency Programme and started TeleSchool TV channel and Radio school projects to ensure the continuation of the students' learning as a response to the pandemic. "We along with edtech partners and in collaboration with UNICEF will upgrade digital contents and start a teacher training programme on a large scale,” he said.
