LAHORE: PML-N Punjab spokesperson Azma Bukhari has said that Sharif family has been under attack since the PTI government came to power. She maintained that the Sharif family had nothing to do with the sugar scandal.

She stated this while addressing a press conference here Monday. Azma said progress made by PTI government was not visible to the people but only to the PTI members. She said increase in petrol price was an example of mini budget.

“There is no solution. Election Commission of Pakistan has also raised objections to the Election Act which was passed by bulldozing the House,” Azma said adding the PML-N would not allow another RTS to come.

The ruler was least bothered to solve the people’s problems, she said. The PTI claimed there was no corruption scandal in their time but while saying this they forgot about the flour and sugar scandals, Azma maintained that even today sugar was Rs110 per kg. She said flour mills had called for a strike and there was a flour crisis in the coming days and the price of bread (Roti) may go up further.

She alleged that the FIA had only seen Shahbaz Sharif and it was making the same case of Shahbaz Sharif which was going on in NAB. It is happening but no one was asking about this. In the same cases of Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz, the Lahore High Court granted bail, she said and termed all this a drama.

“We have already faced such cases and notices. We do not need any relief from this government,” she added.
