MIRANSHAH: Two children sustained injuries when a tree uprooted by the windstorm fell on them in Miranshah Killay in the district on Sunday.
The villagers said that two children identified as Mujahid and Umar, residents of Miranshah Killay, were injured when a tree fell on them.
They were taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
The windstorm, light hail and rain hit several areas, including Miranshah, Mir Ali, Razmak, Datakhel and adjoining areas.
The gusty winds uprooted several trees, damaged standing crops and disrupted electricity supply in a number of the areas of the district.
However, the light hail and rain turned the weather pleasant.
