National Netball Championship from June 27
LAHORE: National Men and Women Netball Championship will start from June 27 at Hameedi Hall, Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad.
Director General, Pakistan Sports Board, Col (Rtd) Asif Zaman will inaugurate the Championship in which WAPDA will defend both men and women titles.
President Pakistan Netball Federation Mudassar Arain said on Saturday that the teams invited for the Championship are Army, Railway, Air Force, Navy, WAPDA, Police, Higher Education Commission, FATA, LUMS, Gilgit-Baltistan, Inter Board, AJK, Sindh, KP, LGS, Balochistan and Islamabad.
The semi-finals will be played on June 29 and the finals on 30.
He said that players who showed good performance during the Championship would be selected in the national men and women teams.
