SOGP delegation visits PSCA

LAHORE : Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Pakistan (SOGP) Lahore Chapter, visited Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA), Qurban Lines here on Saturday.

The 19-member delegation includes doctors, professors and gynecologists visits PSCA. The Chief Operating officer M Kamran Khan and Chief Technology officer Tariq Malik briefed about the various sections of PPIC3 for a real-time functional demonstration of the integrated security platform. Kamran Khan briefed the delegation about the women safety app and e-challan system.

The delegation was taken to various arms and functions of the authority dealing in 15 Operations, Police Dispatch Unit, Media Monitoring Centre, and the PSCA Insignia Cam-surveillance Operations Management Center. The delegation said that Seeing the modern system of Punjab Safe Cities Authority gives a sense of security. We pay tribute to the security personnel who are always present for our safety. The senior doctors also participated in the Authority's web TV programme. At the end of visit a commemorative shield was presented to the delegation by the Punjab Safe Cities Authority.

Waseem visits UET: Candidate for the slot of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Chairman from Professional Excellence Group (PEG), Engr Waseem Nazir visited University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore.

According to a press release, UET Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar and Deans of all faculties of UET participated in an open discussion with Engr Waseem Nazir regarding PEG’s manifesto, role of PEC and prevailing conditions of the engineering profession in the country. After detailed internal deliberations and with a unanimous mandate, UET Lahore has decided to join hands with PEG for PEC elections 2021 and endorsed Engr Waseem Nazir as their nominee for Chairman PEC.
