32 more die from corona
LAHORE:Around 32 patients died from COVID-19 and 131 positive cases were confirmed in Punjab during the last 24 hours.
According to report issued by Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD) Tuesday, the death toll reached 10,548 in Punjab, while confirmed cases became 344,196 in the province.
517 recover: The Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department (SHC&MED), Punjab has said around 301,476 corona patients have recovered in public sector hospitals while 517 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. In a press statement issued here on Tuesday, SHC&MED Secretary Barrister Nabeel Ahmed Awan said decline in wave of Corona pandemic was witnessed in the province which reflected that out of 7,499 beds reserved in all government hospitals for corona patients, 6,535 beds were lying unoccupied. Likewise, 1,555 beds reserved in government hospitals of Lahore and 1,358 beds were vacant so far.
