Police on Monday arrested a man for selling fake coronavirus certificates in Karachi. According to Aziz Bhatti SHO Pervez Solangi, police arrested the man on a complaint of the in-charge of a coronavirus vaccine centre at the Expo Centre.
The suspect, whose identity was not released immediately, was said to be an employee in the IT section of the vaccine centre and was appointed on a contractual basis. He has been accused of selling coronavirus vaccine certificates for Rs2,000 each.
Police suspected some of his companions could have been involved in this illegal practice. They said the man was a barber but was appointed on a contractual basis at the vaccine centre due to different computer courses he had done.
