The federal government has announced a 10 percent increase in public sector salaries. It was disappointing that the government didn’t increase EOBI pensions. One of the PTI’s promises was to increase the amount of this pension. The party must deliver on its promises to support those who don’t receive any post-retirement benefits. The government must raise the pension from Rs8500 to Rs15000. It is hoped that the PM will look into this genuine issue and announce an increase in the EOBI pension.
