Two dacoits killed in Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR: Two dacoits were killed in separate incidents here on Sunday.
In the first incident, some dacoits intercepted a motorcyclist near Dring Stadium and tried to rob him but he overpowered one of them. It infuriated the dacoits and they opened fire at him to get his accomplice released. However, the bullet hit a dacoit, killing him on the spot.
In the second incident, PO Latif was trying to commit a dacoity near the Ahmadpur East THQ Hospital when the people overpowered him and killed him. The killed PO was wanted by police in dozens of dacoity and robbery cases.
YOUTH FOUND DEAD: A 22-year-old youth was found dead in his fields at Chak 93, Fateh, in Bakhshan Khan police limits.
According to police, Younis Warraich was sleeping in his fields when unidentified people murdered him with a sharp-edged weapon. The body was shifted to the Chishtian THQ Hospital for autopsy.
