Pervaiz for restoring former status of colleges

LAHORE:A delegation of Punjab Professors and Lecturers Association (PPLA) headed by its Secretary General Mrs Naheeda called on Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi here on Tuesday. According to a press release, the delegation apprised the PA Speaker of their their problems. Talking to the delegates, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said the former status of the colleges should be restored by the Punjab government. He added process of education of poor children should not be stopped. Pervaiz Elahi said it was the responsibility of the Punjab govt to upgrade colleges.
