PESHAWAR: The Frontier Foundation Hematology Services arranged camps in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to collect blood donation for the children suffering from thalassemia, haemophilia and other blood disorders, said a press release here on Monday.
The team comprising Nasrullah, Muhammad Ilyas, Usman Ali and Manzoor Khan in collaboration with the local social figures including Dr Abdul Qadir, Rashid Hameed, Malik Jehangir, Muhammad Adil, Master Jan Muhammad and others organised the blood donation camps at Tameer Foundation Pakistan, Yousafabad, Peshawar, Bara in Khyber tribal district and in Tangi tehsil of Charsadda district.
A number of people visited the camps and donated blood for the children suffering from thalassemia, haemophilia and other blood disorders.Sahibzada Muhammad Haleem, chairman, Frontier Foundation, thanked the people for the blood donation. He said holding blood donation camps had become very difficult in the prevailing situation due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Sahibzada Muhammad Haleem said the people of Tameer Foundation Pakistan, Yousafabad, Peshawar, Bara and Tangi gave a new lease of life to the haemophilia and thalassemia-hit children with their blood donations.
