Electronic Gaming likely to bring PUBG Mobile officially to Pakistan
KARACHI: Electronic Gaming (ESPL), one of the world’s largest E-Sports firms, has partnered with a Pakistani company to bring electronic gaming to Pakistan.
By focusing on grassroots tournaments, they will be bringing in massive gaming titles like PUBG Mobile, Valorant, Mobile Legends etc, officially to the Pakistani audiences.
ESPL has generated massive sponsorship interest from domestic and international brands.
Through REDtoneDigital Services, its local partners, they will add weight to the government’s drive to digitise Pakistan and build up the nation as a true contender for international gaming competitions.
As a first move, both ESPL and RDS are working on organising a series of E-Sports tournaments across Pakistan. The platform will also host multiple international (region-wide) tournaments.
Speaking about the partnership, Mahnoor Nadeem, CEO RDS, said, “Pakistan is a country at the cusp of a digitisation drive and the young population is making a meaningful contribution towards the transformation process.
“Bringing competitive E-Sports tournaments to the country is a strategic move,” she said. “It will not only see our youth experiencing platforms and environments used elsewhere in the world but will also provide them an opportunity to network and compete globally from their homes.”
