Ashrafi meets Kuwaiti envoy

ISLAMABAD: Special Aide to Prime Minister on Interfaith Harmony and Middle East Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi said Pakistan-Kuwait relations will be reinforced and further improved and every possible initiative will be taken to strengthen and enhance in this regard.

Talking to media here on Tuesday, following his meeting with Kuwait's Ambassador to Pakistan Nasar Abdul Rahman J Al-Mutairi, Tahir Ashrafi said that Pakistan's relations with Arab Islamic world are improving in all areas of cooperation in accordance with the vision and thinking of Prime Minister Imran khan.

Ashrafi called on Kuwait's Ambassador to Pakistan at Kuwait's Embassy and discussed steps to further improve Kuwait-Pakistan relations. He thanked the leadership of Kuwait for the announcement regarding the restoration of visas for Pakistanis during the visit of Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.

Ambassador Nasar Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi said that the government and people of Kuwait look towards Pakistanis and government of Pakistan with the utmost respect. He said the leadership and people of Kuwait are looking forward to the visit of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.

He said that the relations between Pakistan and Kuwait are very stable and strong and these relations will be further strengthened and reinforced in the future with cooperation in all areas of mutual interests.
