Budget 2021-22: CM announces more facilities for people
LAHORE:Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has announced providing more facilities to people in the upcoming budget and added that the next budget would be a facilitator for different sectors. Special Assistant to Chief Minister (SACM) on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan called on Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at his office Tuesday and briefed him about the departmental reforms.
The chief minister directed the SACM and other officials concerned to fully highlight the steps taken for people’s welfare, adding that the volume of work done by the PTI government was unparalleled.
Substantial relief had been provided to masses and ease of doing business had been ensured by the government, he added. The nation has full trust in the PM’s leadership, he added. Usman Buzdar said the provincial government had abolished the culture of political jugglery of the past rulers who always carried out exhibitory projects.
He said the so-called opposition alliance, PDM, had come to an end and the opposition was putting national interest at stake through its approach of attacking the government.The SACM said the political orphans had no place anywhere, neither in their own parties nor in any political alliances. Those claiming to destabilise the government have shunned the unnatural alliance, she said and regretted that the opposition had no strategy or any constructive narrative for people.
Meanwhile, in a statement, the chief minister said the country was fast moving towards economic development and politics of agitation would be equal to enmity with the nation.
TERRORIST ATTACKS ON FC: The chief minister strongly condemned terrorist attacks on the Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel in Quetta and Turbat. In a statement, the CM paid tribute to the brave sons for foiling the nefarious designs of terrorists and termed them heroes of the nation. The CM extended sympathies to the heirs and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
Tariq Jameel: Religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil called on Chief Minister Usman Buzdar at his office here on Tuesday to discuss matters of mutual interest. He prayed for the success of the CM and appreciated the steps taken for ailing humanity. Inner satisfaction lies in serving humanity, he said. The CM said the government is fully focused on welfare of people and added that no opponent is ever victimised. Serving ailing humanity is a mission of the government; he said, adding the scope of Rescue 1122 was being expanded to the tehsil level.
