KARACHI: Malir Companion defeated Al-Hadid Cricket Club by 14 runs in the All-Karachi Shareef Khan Memorial cricket tournament here at Quaid-e-Azam Park cricket stadium in Steel town.
Malir Companion scored 211-9 in 35 overs. Osama Mir made 64 off 74 balls. Off spinner Nadeem captured 3-33.
Al Hadid CC players were bundled out for 197 runs in 34.3 overs. Shoaib top scored for the side with 59 runs. Medium pacer Sher Ali claimed 3-23, while Umer (2-34), Rafay (2-36) and Yaqoob (2-14) also bowled well. Rafay was declared the man of the match.
