One killed, nine injured in accidents
Karachi
A man was killed and nine others were injured in different road accidents in the metropolis on Sunday.
In Clifton, Shakil, 24, was killed when a speeding vehicle hit him near Boat Bason area, the body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.
Three persons were injured in a head-on collision between a car and a rickshaw near Jugi Morr in Korangi.
One injured was identified as Iqbal, 32, son of Junaid while the identity of two other wounded could not be ascertained yet. Iqbal was shifted to the Sindh Social Hospital, Korangi while the two others were sent to the JPMC for treatment.
Injured
Sajjad, 20, son of Wahab and Shakil, 17, son of Munir were injured when their motorcycle slipped near Gulistan -e Jauhar. Both the injured were shifted to the Dar-ul- Sehat hospital for treatment. In New Karachi, Rehan, 22, son of Abdul Aziz was injured in a road accident near 4 K bus stop; he was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed hospital.
Younus, 28, son of Gul Bahar was injured when his motorcycle slipped near Islam Chowk in Orangi town He was shifted to the Qatar hospital. In Shershah, Sharafat, 30, son of Abdul Jabbar was injured when his motorcycle slipped; he was shifted to the Civil hospital.
Tahir, 40, son of Ahmed was injured when his rickshaw overturned on rexer brigde, he was also shifted to the Civil hospital for treatment.
