Wooden houses
By News Desk
December 19, 2015
A massive earthquake shook Pakistan on October 26, 2015 and resulted in several casualties; these people died from the collapse of concrete walls within houses. As our entire country lies on fault lines, earthquakes are bound to occur time and time again.
One of the ways in which we can prevent damage and the loss of lives in the future is by building houses out of wood rather than bricks and concrete. Wooden houses are very resistant to natural disasters such as earthquakes, landslides and hurricanes. Moreover, they are cheap, durable and good for the environment. This could help save lives in the future.
