Workshop inaugurated
KARACHI: With a launch event, MAN Diesel and Turbo Pakistan has formally inaugurated its new workshop in Karachi, a statement said on Monday.
The new location will offer after sales support to both diesel and turbo and truck and bus customers, it said.
The event was attended by the top management of MAN from the Middle East and Europe along with top business stakeholders from Karachi.
"Pakistan is an important market for all our business areas," Olaf Gunia, managing director of MAN Diesel and Turbo Middle East, said.
"We; therefore, have started to invest in our business here almost 10 years ago and today employ more than 125 people. We are confident regarding the business outlook and see further opportunities arise, eg from infrastructure projects starting in the near future coupled with the trade corridor opening from Gwadar to China."
