US Democrats delegation meets Sanjrani
ISLAMABAD: The US Democratic Party Wednesday said democracy was flourishing in Pakistan and it would not only solve masses’ problems but also help the country head towards prosperity. An eight-member delegation of US Democratic Party led by Tahir Javed, called on Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani at the Parliament House. While expressing the confidence in the leadership of Pakistan, the US delegation said that the steps taken by the country for establishing peace are commendable.
The delegation noted that relations between the two countries have become stronger over time and the new US leadership wanted to further strengthen its bilateral relations with Pakistan: The Joe Biden administration wants to further enhance bilateral ties with Pakistan, the US delegation added.
The visiting dignitaries conveyed a goodwill message of the US Senators to Sadiq Sanjrani and Mirza Muhammad Afridi. The US delegation also extended invitation to Chairman and Deputy Chairman Senate to visit the US, which was accepted by the Chairman Senate.
Meanwhile, Sadiq Sanjrani has expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Sheikh Hamadan Bin Rashid, former Finance Minister of United Arab Emirates (UAE) and brother of UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid AI Makhtoum.
