Man dies in road accident

TOBA TEK SINGH: A man was killed in Gojra when a motorcyclist hit him on Jhang road on Saturday.
According to police, Haq Nawaz Bhatti, of Ayub Colony of Gojra was crossing the road when a speeding bike hit him, leaving him injured critically. He was shifted to Gojra THQ hospital from where he was referred to Faisalabad Allied hospital but he succumbed to wounds.
NO DENGUE LARVA: There is not even a single case of dengue, it was claimed in the anti-dengue committee meeting chaired by DCO Amer Ijaz Akbar.
The body was told that no death took place owing to dengue in the district. The anti-dengue body was told that during surveys conducted by the health department of 66,000 places no dengue larva was detected. The body was briefed that spray was done at 4,858 places in the district. EDO (health) Dr Nawaz Ranjha, DHO Dr Khalid, Gojra AC Tanveer Kashif Murtaza, agriculture EDO Shahzad Sabir and TMOs of the district also attended the meeting.
THREE COPS SUSPENDED: DPO Rana Shahzad Akbar Saturday suspended three Toba city policemen. According to the DPO, there were public complaints against ASI Muhammad Afzal, Naib Moharrar Sibghatullah and Constable Musawar Hussain.
