GHSS Manga win match as basketball tourney begins

PESHAWAR: The provincial basketball championship kicked off at Government Higher Secondary School No 1, Peshawar.
In a thrilling opening match, the team of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Manga, Mardan, played excellently and defeated the team of Government Centennial Model School No 2 (GCMS-2), Peshawar.
The GHSS Manga scored 31 points against the 23 points of the GCMS No 2 and won the match.Besides teaching and non-teaching staff members, a large number of spectators and students watched the match.
Director Physical Education Fida Muhammad, who is also coach of the GHSS Manga team, has congratulated the principal and players on the victory and hoped the team would continue the winning streak.
