Higher Education Commission (HEC) is striving hard to improve quality of education and would not compromise on it with the educational institutions in the country.
Dr Mukhtar, HEC chairman highlighting the problems being faced by country’s education system said that two major problems of the higher education of Pakistan which were quality of education and good governance in the educational institutions.
He told APP that unluckily we have made education as business rather than to pay attention on the quality of education. HEC is trying its best to address this problem.
He said HEC could not able to pay its full attention on the quality of education in the past due to some inner hurdles but recently it is on our priorities.
We are resolving our educational issues in collaboration withal governors of the provinces and all higher educational institutions he said.
