BAHAWALPUR: Justice Zafarullah Khan Khakwani of the LHC Bahawalpur Bench reserved the judgment in a petition, challenging candidature of an independent candidate for UC chairman slot.
In a petition, Malik Jafar challenged the candidature of his sister Sumaira Malik as the UC chairman, saying that she could not contest the polls as her vice-chairman candidate had withdrawn his papers. It is expected that the LHC judge would announce the verdict today.
