Roots Ivy Schools sign MoU with Turkish universities

An official MoU signing ceremony between Roots Ivy Schools and Turkish universities including Sabanci University, Istanbul Bilgi University, Girne American University, Cyprus International University, European university of LEFKE, Abdullah GUL Universitesi, Istanbul Kemerburgaz Universitesi, Bilkent Universitesi, Ozyegin Universitesi, OKAN University and Odtu Kuzey Kibris Kampusu was held on Wednesday at Roots Ivy university campus to create a partnership of mutual benefit and cooperatively promote higher education opportunities for Roots Ivy students in Turkey, says a press release.
This memorandum of understanding will enable students to avail excellent higher education and scholarship opportunities provided by the leading Turkish universities and collectively prepare Roots Ivy students to pursue their future academic careers in Turkey.
The only ‘Turkish Universities Resource Centre’ in the twin-cities was also inaugurated at Roots Ivy university campus where currently there are several established resource centers including German Language & Universities Resource Center, Chinese Language & Universities Resource Center along with established university placement support for USA, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Qatar, Singapore, Malaysia and UAE.
The new Turkish Universities Resource Centre will serve as the focal point for information access and dissemination between Roots Ivy students, high-school counselors and Turkish university representatives. Every year a large group of students accompanied by
staff members from Roots Ivy Schools visit Turkish universities to attend summer school programmes and Model United Nations in Turkey.
Speaking on the occasion, Khadija Mushtaq, CEO of Roots Ivy International Schools said, “Today is a key milestone for Roots Ivy School. Our main objective behind signing the intended MoU is to open new doors and opportunities for the students of Roots Ivy School through the cultivation of a network of partner Turkish institutions of higher education as well as other educational establishments of
good repute and facilitate, coordinate and organise exchange programmes, undergraduate studies and summer school camps in cooperation with the leading Turkish universities.
I encourage all students and parents to avail such brilliant opportunities for International higher education. Today is a key milestone for Roots Ivy International and Turkish universities as they embark on a journey to avail new higher education opportunities in graduate and postgraduate studies in the best disciplines like medicine, engineering, finance, etc.
She highlighted the tremendous efforts and initiatives taken up by Roots Ivy Schools to establish multiple Language Student Exchange Programmes.
At the end, the delegation of Turkish university representatives thanked Roots Ivy for organizing such an impressive event. They felt very proud to be working with such dynamic, hard working and dedicated students and teachers. They spoke very fondly of Pakistan and said they were very happy to be in Pakistan.
