Islamabad: The security staff of 'The Centaurus' has caught a gang of thieves which used to steal valuable items from vehicles of visitors.
A spokesman for 'The Centaurus' said the gang of thieves used to steal mobile phones, laptops and other valuable items from cars parked in the parking area. "The thieves have been nabbed with the help of state-of-the-art security system which comprises security cameras, scanners, detectors and other gadgets," he said adding that the accused have been handed over to police.
He said that in the past also, the security staff had nabbed gangs of criminals involved in pick-pocketing and stealing valuable items from their cars. "We have made foolproof security arrangement to make the shopping mall safe for visitors," he said.
Due to measures taken by the management, there has been considerable reduction in incidents of minor crimes at one of the busiest shopping malls of the twin cities.
