OKARA: An old man was stabbed to death by his son over a domestic dispute at Shaukatabad near Renala Khurd on Saturday.
Accused Hamid quarrelled with his father Khushi Muhammad over a domestic dispute. Later, the accused allegedly stabbed his father to death. City Renala Khurd police have registered a case.
CRUSHED TO DEATH: A biker was crushed to death in an accident on Okara-Faisalabad Road on Saturday.
Nasir Abbas of Shirin village was on his way by a bike when a speeding truck crushed him to death. A-Division police have registered a case.
5 HELD WITH WINE: Police on Saturday arrested five bootleggers and recovered brewed wine from them in separate incidents here.
Haveli police raided and arrested Sabir Ali with 210 litres brewed wine while the same staff arrested Muhammad Javed and recovered 15 litres brewed wine from him. The same staff arrested Ali Raza with 20 litres brewed wine while Basirpur police nabbed Rashid and seized 15 litres brewed wine. A-Division police registered a case against Adnan of Shamsia Colony who escaped after leaving 1,100 grams charas behind. The same police arrested Muhammad Ali with 530 grams charas.
GIRL RAPED: A girl was raped at 12/1AL village on Friday night.
Accused Imran entered the house of Wazir Ali and allegedly raped his daughter. Sadar Renala Khurd police have registered a case.
HOUSE LOOTED: A house was looted at Government Colony on Saturday.
Five dacoits entered the house of Muhammad Sarwar and took away Rs 400,000, 5-tola gold ornaments and other valuables. A-Division police have started investigation.
