MANSEHRA: The JUI-F has joined hands with the PPP to play an important role in the formation of the future government after quitting the PML-N-led district government. “The PML-N government has lost simple majority to pass the budget and now the PPP and JUI-F will jointly decide the future of the district government,” said PPP district president Malik Farooq while talking to reporters. Malik Farooq said that PML-N candidate for district nazim slot had secured 45 votes and formed its government. The PTI candidate had polled 40 votes. He said that four PTI councillors, who voted against party line, were de-seated and four members of JUI-F withdrew their support. “The employees of the district council/government have not received salary for four months. The PML-N government is responsible for it,” he said. The PPP leader said the JUI-F and PPP signed an agreement at a meeting. He said that meeting was attended by PPP divisional president Shuja Salim Khan while JUI-F was presented by its district head former senator Hidayatullah Shah. He said that members of the executive council had decided that all decision about the district government formation would be made jointly. Malik Farooq said that JUI-F head Maulana Fazlur Rehman accorded approval to the agreement.
