GUJRANWALA: Citizens were deprived of cash and valuables in several incidents on Wednesday.
In Wahndo area, gunmen intercepted Riasat and his wife and snatched Rs 30,000, gold ornaments and a cellphone.
In Kamoke area, robbers snatched gold ornaments, Rs 25,000 and two cellphones from Maskeen and his wife.
in Rasulnagar locality dacoits snatched Rs 40,000 from Asad.
In Tatlewali area, robbers snatched new motorcycle and a cellphone from Mqasud.
In Dhulley locality robbers snatched Rs 16,000 and two cellphones from Abdul Rehim.
In Cantt area robbers snatched Rs 7,000 and a cell phone from Farooq.
In Civil Lines area, gunmen took away Rs 6,000 and two cellphones from Rashida.
Thieves took away new motorcycles of Usman, Sikandar and Umer, Waheed and Asghar.

FIA ARRESTS ILLEGAL CURRENCY DEALER: FIA team Wednesday arrested a man on charges of running an illegal currency exchange and recovered foreign and national currency.
The FIA team led by Assistant Director Muhammad Sarwar raided Sultaniya international and recovered 8250 Euro, Rs 606,100 from Shahzad Fahad.
