HAFIZABAD: A man Wednesday drowned in Qadirabad-Balloki Link canal near Qadirabad headworks when his vehicle fell into the canal.
According to Recue-1122 sources, the truck coming from Mandi Bahauddin fell into the canal near QB Link Canal.
The Rescue-1122 personnel fished out the truck’s cleaner Muhammad Usman alive after efforts of two hours, while the body of the driver Ghulam Sabir was not traced yet. Muhammad Usman was shifted to hospital.
