The Iqra University has launched a campaign for the club registration for new students of Fall-2015 programme.
The activity is designed to provide new students with a platform to further advance their extracurricular abilities by enlisting in the maximum four of the university’s clubs, including those on adventure and sports, debates, singing and dramatics, eco and media sciences.
The activity is a part of University’s strong determination to encourage its students to fully take part in extracurricular activities. The clubs help students gain desired stimulation that arises through alliance with skilled faculty and their team who administer a particular club.
While speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Iqra University’s Social Sciences dean Dr Muhammad Islam stressed the need for students’ active engagement in non-academic activities as well.
He said the club membership helped not only in acclimatizing the new students to the new campus life, but also in acquiring awareness of the responsibilities and challenges posed to the modern graduates.
