Marium Sohail was awarded with a gold medal for securing first position in final professional examination at the Foundation University Medical College (FUMC) convocation. She was also graced with the ‘Best Graduate Gold Medal’ for her excellence in academics and co-curricular throughout her medical career.
The chief guest awarded a cash prize for her endless hard work and persistent determination. She has made her teachers and parents proud by securing 78.11% (1406/1800) in final year, with a total of four gold medals, three silver medals, three distinctions and 12 merit certificates in various subjects. Along with being on continuous excellence scholarship for last seven years, she has also excelled in the fields of debating, article writing and research. Winning over eight national and 28 regional level debates she has always brought laurels to the institute. As President FUMC debating society and president FUMC scientific society she has proved her leadership qualities. The chancellor acknowledged her passion, commitment and dedication and awarded her with cash prize of Rs100,000.
