ISLAMABAD: Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) on Thursday issued a public notice to all private educational institutions functioning within the territorial jurisdiction of Islamabad for written compliance with its September 23 notification, which must reach the office of PEIRA by October 15.
According to PEIRA notification, parents of the students studying in private educational institutions of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) were informed that under the ICT private educational institutions (registration and regulation) Act 2013, all private educational institutions of Islamabad through a notification dated September 23 have been directed not to increase any fee/charges/funds in 2015.
The notice said that in compliance with the notification, any increase in fee/fun/charges already charged by the private educational institutions shall have to be either refunded or adjusted by the managements of all private educational institutions in the subsequent challan/bills of the students.
The public notice further said in case of non-compliance by any private educational institution of ICT, parents may forward their complaints to the in charge of grievance cell set up in the office of PEIRA.
