Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr. Tahirul Qadri expressed sorrow that affectees of October 2005 earthquake were still waiting for the promised relief and houses in the new city and staying under the open skies for the last 10 years. Addressing a function by Minhajul Quran Welfare Society on Thursday by phone from Canada, he said if only 50 percent of the foreign aid reaching Pakistan in the name of relief for the quake affected had been spent on them, thousands of families and children staying in tents would have been in their homes.
