Over 100 human smugglers held
LAHORE Anti-Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) of FIA Lahore claimed to have arrested over 100 human smugglers, their agents as well as proclaimed offenders (POs) during their ongoing campaign. During ongoing campaign, so far AHTC Lahore has arrested 108 human smugglers, agents and POs from different parts of the province.

Anti-Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) of FIA Lahore claimed to have arrested over 100 human smugglers, their agents as well as proclaimed offenders (POs) during their ongoing campaign.
During ongoing campaign, so far AHTC Lahore has arrested 108 human smugglers, agents and POs from different parts of the province.
Even on Wednesday, the AHTC officials conducted three raids at Muslim Town and Multan Road Lahore and arrested six accused namely, Naeem Baber, Ali Raza, Umer Draz, Maqbool Ahmed, Kashif Munir and Muhammad Asghar.
The FIA team also recovered 37 Pakistani passports, 50 medical certificates, two laptops and 200 employment agreements from their possession. FIA officials stated that all the arrested accused were involved in sending people to Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia etc illegally. FIRs against them have been registered.
Power theft: FIA Lahore on Wednesday conducted two separate raids in the provincial metropolis and detected electricity theft.
According to the FIA officials, raids were conducted at Subway Restaurant DHA Phase-II Lahore and Bhatti Super Store, Sagar Bazaar, Sadar Cantt Lahore and recovered electricity theft through remote control device in electricity meters. FIRs were registered and further investigations were underway.
