Woman killed mysteriously in Baghbanpura

LAHORE: A 58-year-old woman was killed under mysterious circumstances in Baghbanpura police limits Sunday. The victim has been identified as Naseem Akhtar. She has been survived by five children. The victim’s husband had died after which the issue of share in the house popped up. On the other hand, police arrested the victim’s daughter-in-law named Zaiba, the wife of Mohsin. It’s being suspected that Zaiba has a bad reputation and she used to scuffle with her mother-in- law. On the day of incident, the accused persons strangled her. Police reached the crime scene and collected forensic evidence. Police have removed the body to the morgue for autopsy. Further investigation is under way.
