Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the role of teachers is important in character building of the society. In his message on World Teachers Day on Monday, he said teaching is not merely a profession rather it is a service to the nation.
The Prime Minister said he salutes teachers whom he considered to be spiritual leaders.
He said societies and nations always respect their teachers because their guidance and teaching help in shaping up of the destiny of the nation.
