Islamabad: Simon Askey, director of the Undergraduate Law (LLB Honours) Programme of the University of London, visited the School of International Law (SIL), says a press release.
During the visit, he met and congratulated the two worldwide distinction holders of the LLB (Honours), Zainab Samantash and Zunaira Shahid.
Currently on a short trip to Pakistan, Askey personally came over to congratulate the students on their impressive results and presented them with appreciation gifts from the University of London.
He had an interactive talk with students enrolled in the programme where studying techniques and examination marking were discussed.
Accompanying him was the country manager of University of London, Saad Wasim, who spoke about how Pakistani students are now showing the world their potential with such examples of academic excellence. Askey congratulated the faculty of School of International Law for producing not one but two exceptional world record holders this year, something which no Pakistani institute has done before in this programme.
