Outlaw killed in Lakki shootout
LAKKI MARWAT: The police killed an outlaw and arrested his brother in Behramkhel on Sunday.
The police said that acting on a tip-off regarding the presence of an outlaw identified as Muhammad Zaman alias Makho, resident of Jabukhel, along with his brother Sifatullah in Behramkhel village, the parties of Ghaznikhel and Tajori police stations conducted a joint raid to arrest him but he opened fire on the police. The police also retaliated, killing the accused on the spot.
His brother, Sifatullah, was arrested. The outlaw was wanted to the police in several cases of murder and attempted murder. The police seized two Kalashnikovs, grenade and several cartridges.
Meanwhile, Lakki City Police Station arrested two robbers identified Rehmanullah and Suhail belonging to Arsala Wanda were arrested after an exchange of gunfire near Railway Station. The police seized a bike, two kilo charas and arms used in the robbery.
