Man arrested for ‘involvement in minor girl’s kidnapping’
A man was arrested on Sunday for his alleged involvement in the kidnapping of a minor girl in the city’s Korangi area.
According to the Zaman Town police, the five-year-old was kidnapped by unidentified persons while she was playing close to his residence in Korangi.
The girl’s father, Abdur Rehman, had lodged an FIR No. 302/20 against his friends, namely Hafeez alias Kala, Sagheer and Asim alias Tanga for their involvement in the kidnapping of his daughter.
After the registration of the case, the police arrested one of the nominated suspects, namely Asim, and initiated further investigations.
The police said the arrested suspect was affiliated with a political party and that the complainant had told the police that his friends were involved in the kidnapping of his daughter.
