CM for not deducting doctors’ salaries for relief fund

LAHORE: Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has directed for not cutting salaries of doctors for Chief Minister Corona Relief Fund.
CM Usman Buzdar took notice of salary cuts of doctors for Corona Relief Fund and said doctors are playing their role against coronavirus on the frontline. He directed for returning the deducted amount and ordered for issuing notification of allowance equal to salaries of healthcare workers.
According to statement issued by Punjab government frontline medical workers will receive double salary from April 1 for performing corona duty. The government has also announced life insurance and martyrs package of up Rs8 million for frontline medical workers.
