LALAMUSA: Five people were killed and as many others injured in two road accidents here on Sunday.
In the first incident, Ali Awais, Samad Ali and Hamza, residents of Chakwal, were on their way when their car collided with a van. As a result, Ali Awais, Samad Ali and Hamza were killed on the spot while three others, including Hamza and a van conductor, were injured. The injured people were shifted to the Gujrat Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.
In the second incident, six friends, residents of Lalamusa, were going to Daulatnagar on two motorcycles when their bikes collided with a motorcycle near Machiwal. As a result, Hassan Raza, a student of second year, and his friend were killed on the spot while Dawood and Jawad were injured seriously. The injured people were shifted to the Aziz Bhatti Shahid Hospital in Gujrat from where Dawood was referred to the PIMS because of his serious head injuries.
HAFIZABAD: A youth was killed and another injured in a collision between two motorcycles at Sukheke. Zubair Ahmad was on his way when his motorcycle collided with another motorcycle. As a result, Zubair was killed on the spot while Abbas Ali was injured seriously. The injured man was shifted to the Faisalabad Allied Hospital.

In the first incident, Abu Bakr and Ghaffar of Chak 710/GB were on their way when a motorcycle collided with their motorcycle near Kamalia. As a result, Abu Bakr and Ghaffar were killed on the spot. In the second incident, a bus struck against a tree due to overspeeding near Kamalia level crossing. As a result, 20 passengers were injured seriously. They were shifted to the Kamalia THQ Hospital.
