Education campaigner in US for conference

MIRPURKHAS: Aasoo Bai Kohli, a special person from a remote village in district Umerkot, departed for USA on the invitation of Malala Yousufzai in recognition of her extraordinary services for education of girls. Aasoo Bai, 22, daughter of a peasant in village Meena ji Dhani in district Umerkot, has set a rare example of providing free education to girls in her village. Malala Yousufzai happened to have heard about her campaign for girls’ education and was so much impressed that she invited her to a conference in New York to share her experience with an international audience.
