PESHAWAR: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has provided 25000 corona testing kits to the Health Department.
The PDMA also dispatched safety equipment to 12 hospitals battling the pandemic of coronavirus. The safety equipment dispatched to seven more hospitals included the Mardan Medical Complex, SGTH Swat, District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Charsadda, DHQ Malakand, DHQ Mardan, DHQ Tank and Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital, Swat. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) provided safety equipment for further distribution. According to details, 1462 N-95 masks dispatched including 590 for LRH, 222 for KTH, SGTH Swat 120, 43 for DHQ Buner and 162 for Dir Lower. “We are dispatching more safety equipment to the other of the Hospitals as per NDMA guidelines. The provision of more safety equipment at hospitals is to ensure safety of medical staff,” said the DG PDMA.
