One day after a video circulated on social media showing a group of people severely beating up policemen who asked shopkeepers to shut shops in connection to the coronavirus lockdown, police on Thursday claimed to have arrested one of the nominated suspects.
Wali Khan, son of Sher Bahadur, was arrested by police while raids are under way to arrest the remaining suspects. Police have registered an FIR No. 100/20 under the sections 147, 148, 149, 188, 186 and 353 of the Pakistan Penal Code against the group of people.
