HARIPUR: The traders, especially businessmen running small shops, were under constant stress since the start of lockdown and were unable to sustain the pressure of prevailing recession. Talking to reporters, Iftikhar Amin, president All Traders Association, Haripur, said that the traders of Haripur extended their full cooperation to the administration and had kept their business closed since the day one of the lockdown. However, he said that the lockdown had impacted not only hundreds of small shopkeepers adversely but also left thousands of their employees working on different shops. He said that the prevailing situation, which was worst of its kind during the last 50 years, had rendered them hapless.
