Japanese envoy meets PM aide
Islamabad:Japanese Ambassador Kuninori Matsuda called on Prime Minister's Adviser on Finance and Revenue Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh here on Monday.
The ambassador informed the adviser about the steps being taken by Japan to contain the coronavirus pandemic and its economic impact. He said his country supported the people of Pakistan during the current trying times and was ready to offer its expertise and any sort of assistance to the government if the situation required so.
The ambassador also discussed issues of the Japanese investors in Pakistan related to the restrictions on business activities. The premier's aide appreciated the efforts of the government of Japan to control the coronavirus pandemic and thanked the Japanese government over support for the people of Pakistan.
