Ration plan rejected
LAHORE:The Pakistan Jamhoori League (PJL) has rejected the proposed plan for distribution of ration among the people.
The PJL has demanded distribution of ration under supervision of Pakistan Army. Addressing the party workers, PJL Cairman Rana Zaman Saeed along with Secretary Information Zahid Hamed Gondal said the people involved in scams of wheat and sugar could not provide benefit to the people of Pakistan.
The PJL chairman feared that poor people might die due to unavailability of ration. The rulers will be responsible for that, he added. Distribution of ration via Insaf Tiger Force is political bribery, he alleged. The rulers are required to put justice above politics, but they have failed to ensure transparency and fairness, he said.
“Conditions set for poor people are a joke and we reject these conditions. We urge the federal and provincial governments to ensure distribution of ration via federal and provincial governments,” the PJL leaders said.
Owing to the crisis, poor people will have no option except to commit suicides. The rulers are mishandling the crisis. They are giving birth to the greatest-ever human tragedy due to their political interests, the PJL leaders said.
