Teachers' plight
April 06, 2020
In 2019, the school education department of Sindh appointed more than six thousand teachers of different cadres through Sukkur IBA across Sindh.
Since than, almost five months have passed but their salaries have not been issued. Keeping in view the prevailing situation of Covid-19, teachers of the Sindh education department are finding it difficult to make both ends meet. Psychologically, they are in great stress due to their financial crisis at home. Authorities are requested to pay attention to the plight of the newly appointed JESTs and ECTs and take speedy measure to minimize their miseries.
